My build
I'm sure it's been done, but I've been using Ineptitude/clumsiness/ior. I think it's the most fun i've had abing. With distortion I can toe to toe most melee if needed, and usually they are dead before they get a clue. I have even had it work on casters/touchers/monks that are stupid enough to melee. I use energy tap, inspired hex, and sin is my sub class, but the only thing i use out of it is dash. Let me know if you have any ideas.

I'm curious on your exact build before I can be of much help, its purpose (pvp or pve), and how you manage to kill touch rangers with it (even if they are stupid enough to melee).

I've been using it for ab. As far as touch rangers go, good ones don't melee, or cast spells, which is why things like empathy and backfire don't work. Ineptitude makes them blind, but also causes 140 something dmg if they attack, clumsiness makes them take 90 something dmg if they attack, and Images of remorse degens and makes them take extra dmg if they attack. So for casters, and touchers, neither of them usually have a ton of hp, this goes through their hp pretty fast.
I've noticed alot of really crappy touchers lately...not using plague touch...meleeing...using alot of spells. It's interesting that they can't ever correctly copy what makes the build so strong.
I changed my build alittle using etherial (sp) burden and the other snare energy spell can't remember the name off hand, to get out of reach when needed.

inept and clumsiness will not trigger on touch skills. I think the proper nerf to touch rangers is to make those skills trigger as an attack-touched base range skill.

The crappy TR's use spacebar to move, the good ones use asdw as to not trigger those spells, but ari shining star already mentioned that =P

Correct, as I posted before, touch skills do not trigger clumsiness and ineptitude, but an amazing amout of touchers attack. Also, I added grim aura, and use etherial buden and just degen them from a distance if they don't melee.
